Tamil Nadu: 3 individuals die after inhaling poisonous fumes in septic tank in Cuddalore

Three employees died after inhaling poisonous fumes whereas doing patch work on a newly constructed septic tank close to a Srimushnam village in Tamil Nadu’s Cuddalore, police stated on Sunday. The incident that came about on Saturday night claimed the lives of three individuals, who had been recognized as Krishnamoorthy (40), Balachandran (32) and Shakthivel (22).

Krishnamoorthy was the proprietor of the home and the opposite two deceased had been his family members. “Krishnamoorthy owned the brand new home for which a brand new septic tank was being constructed. The opposite two had been family members of Krishnamoorthy and all 3 went into the tank yesterday and did some patch work. Sadly, poisonous fumes killed them,” Cuddalore Police stated. .

The police have registered a case of the incident beneath Part 174 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC). The our bodies of the deceased have been despatched for post-mortem, the police stated.
